Teaching In Tanzania is an unparalleled opportunity to understand the role of diversity and culture in the classroom first hand. This service trip will allow you to become global citizens, as well as, give you the chance to learn or expand your teaching skills. You will learn to put aside your feelings and beliefs so you can tolerate and accept different cultures and their beliefs. You will learn to accept other cultures for what they are, not what we think they should be. This will all be done through teaching at the Maasai Joy Children’s Centre. You do not have to be a teacher or preservice teacher to join this service trip. You simply need to have a desire to see the world and do some good in it.
